On behalf of Precious Metals Bike Club, We truly THANK YOU for the Love and Support.  There has been so much controversy surrounding Myrtle Beach.  Through it all there has been a lot shared, taught and learned as to the History of the 29th Annual Memorial Bike Festival founded by the Carolina Knight Riders of North Myrtle Beach. 

On Saturday, we had various clubs (150+ bikes) participate in the Annual Memorial Ride.  With the controversy surrounding the bike rallies, the ride was short and to the point….we rode from the Carolina Knight Riders Club House (Hwy 90, 22, 31 & 17)` into the Town of Atlantic Beach, led by who started it and where they started it from, was truly a sight to see as they  blocked traffic keeping the group of bikes together and rolled in an orderly uniformed fashion into the Town of Atlantic Beach.

This is our history as bikers and we as bikers are the only ones who can protect, rep or destroy it, this year many of us stepped up to the plate despite the controversy and the new ordinances imposed by the City of Myrtle Beach to represent and educate as to who we as bikers are.  Through our strong positive representation, I am proud to say that we truly made an impact, an impact with a well received telephone call on Monday morning, May 25, 2009 from Chief Bailey of North Myrtle Beach Public Safety Department to say THANK YOU for what we’ve done.  To pass by Chief Rizzo of Atlantic Beach Police Department to have him say THANK YOU.  To hear the various Law Enforcement say THANK YOU.  In addition, South Carolina Highway Patrol Department set up a booth, provide free bracelets and kickstand plates to the bikers (Ride Smart…Highways or Die Ways….the Choice is Yours) was a huge sign of respect.
